PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain a safe communication path without requiring any special organization nor system such as a dedicated device and an authentication station (CA). SOLUTION: Save communication is carried out by calculating an ID from information that a member belonging to a specific group only remembers. For example, a secret URL (Uniform Resource Locator) is generated on the basis of common knowledge that only members have and a safe information space accessed by using the URL is used to exchange information. The ID is preferably a tentative one which changes with the date and time. Further, false information is given when an old ID is used. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
