MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR MULTI-STAGE COMPRESSION TYPE ROTARY COMPRESSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a multi-stage compression type rotary compressor which reduces the cost by suppressing alteration of component parts as much as practicable and also sets the optimum excluded volume ratio easily while an enlargement of the compressor dimensions is precluded. SOLUTION: According to this method for manufacturing the multi-stage compression type rotary compressor 10, the excluded volume ratio of a first rotary compressing element 32 to a second rotary compressing element 34 is set to the optimum value by changing the inside diameter D1 of the lower cylinder 40 without changing the thickness (height) of the lower cylinder 40. That is, the excluded volume of the second rotary compressing element is set between 40% and 75% of the excluded volume of the first rotary compressing element. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
