<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multipage printer, in particular, a print system capable of printing in the same color as a color that a user images on a paper sheet. <P>SOLUTION: When applying color to print data prepared by a word processor X, a desired color is selected from a template 8 for adjusting pallet color, and information of the closely resembling color is read from a variation table 22 by the control of a color specification processing part 16 based on the color information and is printed and outputted. A user sees, for example, the results of printing, selects the color that he desires most from the results of printing, and specifies it.
