MANUFACTURING EQUIPMENT FOR HIGH-FREQUENCY CABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide manufacturing equipment for a high-frequency cable generating no shape change in a corrugated pipe in order to maintain and improve electric characteristics of a cable.

SOLUTION: This manufacturing equipment is quipped with a corrugating machine 6 for corrugating a pipe body 1; a taking-in device 7 taking-in the corrugated pipe 2 sent from the corrugating machine 6 on the downstream side; a pitch measuring device 3 measuring a corrugation pitch P of the corrugated pipe 2 between the corrugating machine 6 and the taking-in device 7; and a control means S detecting the change of the corrugation pitch P measured with the pitch measuring device 3, adjusting the working velocity of the corrugating machine 6 and/or the taking-in cable velocity of the taking-in device 7 to control so that the corrugation pitch P is made constant.
