<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the control method of an inverter for attaining a high utilization ratio for voltage. <P>SOLUTION: The motor control system includes a three-phase motor (1, 1'), an inverter 2 for feeding a three-phase voltage (v<SB>u</SB>, v<SB>v</SB>and v<SB>w</SB>), and a controller 12 for controlling the inverter 12. The controller 12 controls the inverter 2 for carrying out a step (a) of generating a first three-phase output wave formed of rectangular pulses in a non-synchronization PWM (pulse width modulation) control method and generating an output as the three-phase voltage (v<SB>u</SB>, v<SB>v</SB>and v<SB>w</SB>), and a step (b) of converting the three-phase voltage according to the interval of the rectangular pulses into a second three-phase output wave including a single rectangular pulse per half cycle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
