<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease an amount of curl in recording paper with respect to the projecting portion of non-rectangular paper by relatively decreasing image density in comparison with that of a rectangular portion, thereby deliberately decreasing an amount of toner attached to the projecting portion of the non- rectangular paper. <P>SOLUTION: In S401, a rectangular color digital image stored in a data storage means is set as an area for image formation on the projecting portion of the non-rectangular paper. In S404, an image pixel corresponding to the image formation is judged to be in the position of the projection portion or not. In S406, when the pixel is in the position of the projecting portion in S404, the color is changed to black monochrome. Thus, by forming the image in black monochrome only in the area of the projecting portion, an amount of curl in the projecting portion is decreased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
