<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting door which is operated according to a wire suspension method and has its door body stopped at an arbitrary vertical location, wherein the door body is prevented from falling even if a wire is suddenly cut. <P>SOLUTION: According to the structure of the lifting door, an opening 1 of a cabinet C has jambs 4 on right and left sides thereof, and a slider 9 and a balancer 20 are guided in each jamb 4 in a vertically movable manner. A pulley 22 is arranged in the jamb 4 at an upper end thereof, and the wire 30 is wrap-connected to the pulley 22. Then, one end of the wire 30 is connected to the slider 9 and the other end of the same to the balancer 20, respectively. Next, the door body 5 is mounted on the slider 9, and further a lock member 50 is attached to the slider 9, so that the lock member 50 functions to bear a wedge roller 53 and a stopper 52. If the wire 30 is suddenly cut, the wedge roller 53 interposes, like a wedge, between the lock member 50 and a wall surface 61 in the jamb 4 opposed to the lock member 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
