PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a tool for attaching and detaching a back lid of a clock, capable of preventing the periphery of a recessed part for engaging the back lid from being damaged as before in attaching and detaching the back lid of the clock in repairing the clock not to get into trouble with a customer. SOLUTION: In this method for attaching and detaching the back lid turned to the back side of the clock to be attached and detached, a tool bonded to the outer surface of the back lid is turned to attach and detach the back lid, and then the tool is separated. The back lid of the clock and the tool are bonded by a strippable adhesive, a temperature reversible heat fused material or vacuum suction using the atmospheric pressure. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
