PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the size of a compressor such that it can be used also as a compressor for a car air conditioner and make it easy to mount the compressor even at the internal part of the hood, where there is a limit to a volume, of an automobile. SOLUTION: The compressor 100, a radiator 101, an expansion valve 102, and an evaporator 103, and an oil separator 104 are intercoupled through a refrigerator pipe 110 to form a closed circuit for a refrigerant. The closed circuit is filled with carbon dioxide as a refrigerant. An oil storage part 104A of the oil separator 104 and the compressor 100 are intercoupled through an oil return pipe 112, and a refrigerator oil 60 separated from the refrigerant at the oil storage part 104A is directly returned to the compression mechanism of the compressor 100.
