PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the flexibility in the design of a metal gasket by reducing the setting space of beads 10 and 9 with a structure for preventing fatigue of the sealing bead 9 by the stopper bead 10, and to provide the structure at a low cost. SOLUTION: The stopper bead 10 is formed in the middle in the cross direction of the sealing bead 9. Accordingly, the setting space can be smaller than a conventional structure in which the beads 9 and 10 are displaced in the surface direction, so that the above purpose can be achieved. Moreover, the structure with more excellent durability can be provided at a lower cost than a structure using polymeric resin. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
