<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple production method for a multi-layer information record carrier by which the manufacturing time is shortened and creation of automation equipment for mass production is facilitated. <P>SOLUTION: The production method involves forming, a signal duplication layer containing signals on a first substrate. The substrate having the information duplication layer replaces a metallic stamping plate. In the production method, after curing by exposing an information layer with ultraviolet light, the information layer is separated from the information duplication layer by a difference in adhesive force between different raw materials.
