<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member registering method capable of reducing input items and workload by a user. <P>SOLUTION: When an e-mail is received from a terminal device 2 operated by an applicant of the member registration, an e-mail address of the received e-mail is read out, and whether the read e-mail address exists in the member information database 13 or not is retrieved. When the e-mail address does not exist in the member information database 13 as a result of retrieval, a membership number and a password are allocated to the applicant, and stored in the member information database 13 as the member information of a new member. Then an e-mail including URL 35 linked to a Web page for providing the service to the new member, the membership number and the like is created, and transmitted to the e-mail address of the terminal device 2 of the new member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
