摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a TFT liquid crystal display device in which the strength of adhesion of a sealing material is high and the reliability of a terminal is high.

SOLUTION: In the peripheral spaces of the liquid crystal display device, adhesive power between upper and lower substrates in a sealing part is enlarged by removing in block an organic protective film EPAS at the lower part of a sealing material region SEL with an inorganic protective film PAS. The reliability of the terminal is improved by leading out a video signal line DL by connecting it to gate wiring GL of the lower part of an insulation layer PAS at the lower part of the sealing material SEL from drain wiring DL in a display region.
