<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen storage tank that can be handled safely and easily without special care and that can hold a sufficient enough amount of hydrogen even with a small size. <P>SOLUTION: This hydrogen storage tank (1) includes a housing (3) having a plurality of containers (2) filled with hydrogen gas and a gastight inner space (4) filled with inert gas with lower pressure than that of the hydrogen gas. The plurality of containers are placed within the inner space and connected to each other through a manifold (5) placed inside the housing.
