PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker system which detects what type audio signal is supplied, and automatically adjusts sound reproduction from an analog audio input signal or a digital audio input signal. SOLUTION: The speaker system is provided with one or more converters for converting each type digital audio to analog audio, a detecting means for detecting whether an analog audio input signal or one of possible digital audio signals exists, and a multiplexer for switching the analog audio input signal and one of outputs of a digital audio converter.
