PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is troublesome to manually adjust a television with a deflection coil or the like in a conventional manner. SOLUTION: In a picture size adjusting process, a television 20 stops so that a reference position A in a picture 20a of a CRT 23 can face to each camera 11-14. Then, a picture adjustment controller 10 displays a picture for adjustment constituted of a white line B passing the reference position A on the picture 20a. In this case, when the area of the white line B part in image pickup ranges 11a-14a is not the maximum value, the picture 20a of the CRT 23 is not of any normal picture size. Thus, the picture adjustment controller 10 performs feedback to maximize the area of the white line B part, and applies picture adjustment data to a microcomputer 26 of the television 20 so that the picture size can be automatically adjusted.
