PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of horizontal miss-convergence at each intermediate part at the right and left sides of a screen at the time of correcting horizontal miss-convergence in a pin cushion type horizontal deflection magnetic field. SOLUTION: This convergence correcting device is provided with a first correction coil 21A forming a first correction magnetic field displacing both two side beams of three electronic beams going forward in an in-line array horizontally to their mutually approaching or separating direction, a second correction coil 21B forming a second correction magnetic field opposite to the first correction magnetic field, a bridge circuit 22 for supplying parabola currents Ip in a horizontal deflection cycle to the first and second correction coils, a first current varying coil L13 connected to the first correction coil in series and supplied with the first bias magnetic field, and a second current varying coil L14 connected to the second correction coil in series and supplied with a second bias magnetic field opposite to the first bias magnetic field.
