PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication terminal, an emergency call system, an emergency call transmitting method for the mobile communication terminal and a program therefor in which an emergency state is reported by performing call operation when the terminal moves into a service area even when an emergency call is made out of the service area. SOLUTION: A user performs the originating operation of the emergency call from a key pad 6 in the case of emergency (S1). An in-zone/out-of-zone deciding part 41 decides whether the existent position of the mobile communication terminal is in the service area or out of the service area, and when the terminal is out of the area (S2/NO), a transmission control part 42 holds the call operation of the emergency call (S4). A control part 4 decides whether or not an emergency signal is to be generated and when transmitting that signal (S5/YES), the transmission of the emergency signal from a signal transmitting part 9 is controlled by the transmission control part 42 (S6). After the emergency signal is transmitted, it is periodically decided again by the in-zone/out-of-zone deciding part 41 whether the terminal is located in the service area or out of the service area (S7) and when the terminal moves into the service area, the emergency call is transmitted (S8).
