PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm a response from a transmission-destination terminal device in multicast communication through a ring type network. SOLUTION: When a terminal device as a transmission source of a frame to be sent receives a return frame through the ring type network 1, the ACK counter of the frame is compared with the supposed number of terminals which is stored on the device. When the both match each other, it is judged that all terminal devices as transmission destinations have received the transmitted frame normally, but when not, it is judged that any terminal device as a transmission destination has not received the transmitted frame normally. The terminal device as the transmission source can confirm whether the terminal devices as the transmission destinations receive the frame normally, and only when the frame is not received normally, the frame is resent.
