PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the friction between a cover and an operation part to make the operation of a switch smooth in a switch device in which the operation part of the switch is housed in a casing and the upper part of the operation part is covered with a rubber cover. SOLUTION: This switch device is formed by fitting the operation part 5 of the switch to the inside of the casing 1 and covering the upper part of the operation part 5 with the cover 4 made of a soft material such as rubber and a sheet 7 made of a material having flexibility and low friction is fit to between the cover 4 and the operation part 5 to reduce the friction between the cover 4 and the operation part 5.
