PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axle load measuring method of a vehicle running on a bridge capable of easily performing installation and maintenance of a measuring means such as a sensor, and simply performing data processing or adjustment of a measuring system. SOLUTION: When measuring the axle load of the vehicle running on the bridge, the axle load of the vehicle is determined based on the fluctuation quantity of a response value of the bridge to the moving load following running of the vehicle, for example, the response value to the moving load on a spot where the shape of an influence line of a fulcrum reaction is suddenly changed.
