PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and easily perform with little labor by effectively using an expansion controller either when connecting an expansion pipe joint at some midpoint of the pipeline of fluid transportation equipment or when removing an expansion pipe joint connected at some midpoint of the pipeline. SOLUTION: An elastic sealing member for sealing is interposed between the inner circumferential surface of a socket pipe part 1 and the outer circumferential surface of a spigot pipe part which is inserted and connected elastically from an axial center X direction, and an expansion controller for sliding the connected pipe parts 1 in an axial center X direction between mounting parts 1E provided on the outer circumferential surface of the socket pipe part 1 and a mounting part provided on the outer circumferential surface of the spigot pipe part is detachably engaged and held, and an adjustment S permitting relative rotation within the constant range in the pipe parts 1 while keeping an engaging state between them is provided between the expansion controller and at least one of mounting parts 1E.
