PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve which easily changes orifice flow with a structure that allows length and angle of an inlet side orifice 16 to change freely. SOLUTION: On an orifice plate 4, an orifice (the inlet side orifice 16 and an outlet side orifice 17) is provided to each of an upstream side and a downstream side of a pressure control chamber 15 and the diameter of flow path (inner diameter) or the outlet side orifice 17 is larger than that of the inlet side orifice 16. The inlet side orifice 16 is provided between a deadend hole passage 18 formed on the orifice plate 4 and a pressure control chamber 15 and an opening of orifice outlet is provided on a side face (tapered surface) of the pressure control chamber 15. As this structure allows this fuel injection valve to secure large space for forming the inlet side orifice 16 on the orifice plate 4, the inlet side orifice 16 can be designed more freely.
