PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a breakwater structure 1 capable of conserving the water quality and preventing waves from intruding into the inside of the breakwater 2 by improving the exchange efficiency of seawater between the inside and the outside of the breakwater 2. SOLUTION: In the breakwater structure 1, a plurality of the breakwaters 2 in which water channels 21 penetrating from the front face to the rear face are parallelly formed between the coast side and the offshore side at every specified interval and a water flow control means 3 regulating the flow rate of the seawater passing through the water channel 21 is installed in the breakwater structure 1.
