PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the user's burden relating to operation in selecting the region of the color three-dimensional images obtained from a color confocal microscope as a measurement range of a sample. SOLUTION: The three-dimensional confocal microscope images having the color information obtained by the color confocal microscope are first acquired. Next, the instruction to the color information (colors) is obtained from the user. The region of the above color three-dimensional images having the same color information as the instructed color information is selected as the measurement range of the sample.
