<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new light emitting units which can be assembled into a more variegated shape, either a flat shape or a solid shape. <P>SOLUTION: Red light emitting diodes R1-Rn, green light emitting diodes G1-Gn, and blue light emitting diodes B1-Bn are mounted on one plane of a flexible multilayer base 200 in the form of a polygon (an isosceles triangle) with the respective diodes connected in series, and feeding terminals R1-R6 for red color, feeding terminals G1-G6 for green color, feeding terminals B1-B6 for blue color, and common terminals C1-C6 are provided on each side of the outer periphery of the multilayer base 200. Circuit patterns 210R, 220G, 230B to connect the feeding terminals to the high potential side of respective color emitting diodes connected in series for every color, and a circuit pattern 240C to connect all low potential sides of respective color emitting diodes connected in series to the common terminals are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
