PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable interruption during a conference in a network conference system.

SOLUTION: The participation in the conference is requested from a host terminal to participant terminals (S102), each of participant terminals detects the conference participation request from the host terminal and while the participant terminal holds another conference or is participated in the other conference, such a state under the conference is reported to the host terminal (S104). The notice under the conference is detected by the host terminal (S105) and it is determined by the terminal operator of the host terminal whether or not the participation is to be requested again to the participant terminal under the conference (S106). When the participant terminal detects the participation request again, it is reported that the participation in the conference is requested from the other terminal (S107) and it is determined by the terminal operator of the participant terminal whether or not the other conference under holding or participating at present is to be ended or whether or not the participant is to leave the conference in response to the conference participation request (S108).
