<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery, which makes power output of a lithium secondary battery, especially the output power in a low-temperature region improve by adding a small amount of additive agent to the electrolyte. <P>SOLUTION: It is the non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery, which contains the compound shown in a formula, in a non-aqueous electrolyte. In the formula, R<SB>1</SB>is R<SB>1</SB>'-(O-Alk<SB>1</SB>)<SB>n1</SB>-, R<SB>2</SB>is R<SB>2</SB>'-(O-Alk<SB>2</SB>)<SB>n2</SB>, and R<SB>3</SB>and R<SB>3</SB>'-(O-Alk<SB>3</SB>)<SB>n3</SB>-. Alk<SB>1</SB>, Alk<SB>2</SB>, and Alk<SB>3</SB>are each independently ethylene group or propylene group.
