PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arithmetic circuit capable of fast performing arithmetic processing without increasing a layout area and without lowering arithmetic accuracy. SOLUTION: This arithmetic circuit is provided with a differential amplifier, a capacitor for input the one terminal of which is connected to an input terminal of the differential amplifier, first and second switches connected in parallel to the other terminal of the capacitor for input and a third switch. A signal node between the first or second switch and the capacitor for input is initialized into a commonmode voltage level through the third switch before first or second data is inputted, the first data is inputted to the capacitor for input through the first switch, the second data is then inputted to the capacitor for input through the second switch, and prescribed arithmetic processing is performed between the first data and the second data.
