PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform cold insulation in modes of different inside temperatures with one kind of cold insulator. SOLUTION: In this cold insulation storage, the inner part of a cold insulation chamber 3 inside a heat-insulated cold insulation storage body 1 is cold-insulated by a cold insulating device 10 arranged at an upper part of the cold insulation chamber 3 and accumulated of cold heat by operation of a freezing device 9. A cold air control means A opened/closed so as to section the cold insulation chamber 3 into a cooling chamber 3A in the upper part and a cargo chamber 3B in the lower part and to control a communication area for communicating the cooling chamber 3A and the cargo chamber 3B is installed at a lower part of the cold insulating device 10. By opening/closing the cold air control means A, the upper and lower communication area by the cold air control means A is controlled and accordingly a lowering quantity of cold air from the cold insulating device 10 into the cargo chamber 3B is controlled.
