PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the surface of a pipe from being damaged even if a bucket is bumped into an existing pipe by mistake. SOLUTION: A suspension portion 11 is provided at a top portion of a protection tool main body 5 having a predetermined length with a substantially curved shape along a top outer surface of an existing pipe 1. Also, a projection portion 8 is provided at a substantially center portion in the longitudinal direction of the protection tool main body 5 so that a pipe protection tool 4 is pushed and moved along the existing pipe 1.
