GEOTEXTILE USED FOR BLOCK PAVEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retain an interlayer separation function between a subgrade and a cushion layer for a long time while keeping necessary water permeability. SOLUTION: Geotextiles 10 are laid between the subgrade and the cushion layer when carrying out block pavement. The geotextile 10 has a divided fiber nonwoven fabric 11 with an articulated structure and a span bond nonwoven fabric 12 compounded on one side face of the divided fiber nonwoven fabric 11. The divided fiber nonwoven fabric 11 and the span bond nonwoven fabric 12 are constituted of polyolefine based resin and compounded by contact bonding. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
