DETECTOR FOR SLACKNESS OF DRAFTING ROLLER OF SPINNING MACHINERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the occurrence of slackness of a screw part of a plurality of roller shafts in a drafting apparatus in which bottom rollers composed of mutually connecting the plurality of roller shafts by screwing of screw parts formed at ends of the roller shafts are divided into two line shafts and each line shaft is driven from the end sides of the frame. SOLUTION: This detector comprises each of bottom rollers 12 to 14 of the drafting apparatus 11 divided into two line shafts 12a to 14a and 12b to 14b and driven with driving motors 15a and 15b from the end sides of the frame. Each line shaft is composed by mutually connecting the plurality of roller shafts according to screwing of the screw parts formed at the ends of the roller shafts. Proximity switches 23a and 23b are installed at positions corresponding to the roller shafts 21 located at the ends of the driving sides of the line shafts 14a and 14b of back bottom rollers 14. Furthermore, proximity switches 22a and 22b are provided at positions corresponding to the roller shafts 21 located at the ends on the sides opposite to the driving sides. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
