PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an immersed tube for marine tunnel capable of precisely connect a submarine immersed tube and an underground tunnel in a short time, a departure method of a shield machine to the immersed tube and a start method of the shield machine from the immersed tube. SOLUTION: A slide hood 6 serving as a guide at the start and departure of a shield machine S is installed retractably in the immersed tube body 4 submerged in the sea bottom 1 to construct a marine tunnel. The slide hood 6 is projected from the opening of the immersed tube 3 toward the shore side rising port 2, and the shield machine S which has proceeded from the shore while excavating is intruded into the slide hood 6. In this way, even if there is an executional inevitable gap L between the immersed tube 3 and the shore side rising port 2, the shield machine S which has proceeded while excavating from the shore can be accurately intruded into the immersed tube 3 without refilling the gap.
