摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnesium alloy superior in corrosion resistance without needing special corrosion prevention treatment. SOLUTION: The magnesium alloy superior in corrosion resistance comprises 1-8 mass% aluminum (Al), 0.1-1.5 mass% manganese (Mn), 0.1-0.9 mass% in total of cerium (Ce) and/or lanthanum (La), with respect to 100 mass% of the whole, and the balance magnesium (Mg) with unavoidable impurities. Then, appropriately added Al, Mn, Ce, and La, improve the corrosion resistance, because of strengthening the surface oxide film, and thereby inhibiting local corrosion. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
