PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite terminal for easy emergency communication at occurrence of disaster. SOLUTION: A composite terminal 30 mainly comprises a control unit 31, a PHS transmission/reception part 32, a pager reception part 33, an operation part 34, a memory 35, and a display 36. The control part 31 controls operation of each part. The PHS transmission/reception part 32 has a function as a PHS terminal. The pager reception part 33 has a function as a pager terminal. The operation part 34 has an input function with an operation button, etc. The memory 35 stores various data. The display 36 has an output function with a liquid-crystal display, a speaker, etc. Thus, the composite terminal 30 has both functions: unidirectional communication of a pager and a bidirectional communication of a PHS.
