<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that prevents toner from sticking onto the surface of a pressure roller with a relatively simple component configuration, facilitates the replacement of a pressure-roller cleaning member, and extends the life of the pressure roller. <P>SOLUTION: A toner image formed on a photoreceptor drum 8 is transferred to a recording material by a transfer roller 9 and the unfixed toner image held on the recording material P is fixed by a fixing means 11 in order to obtain a toner image fixed on the recording material P. A carrying path from the position where the recording material is fed to the fixing means 11 via the transfer means 9 slopes obliquely upward. The fixing means 11 is provided on a carrying plate 22 constituting the carrying path.
