<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce working quantity of a user side and processing load required for user authentication, and improve security of information without depending on a moral of each user, in an information terminal system requiring a security countermeasure. <P>SOLUTION: When an operation of an information terminal device body 1 is started, biological characteristic information such as retina and iris in an eye-ball of an individual user is read by a detection device 3 installed to a head mount display 2, and a host device authenticates whether the user has an authority of usage or not based on the information. Once the user authentication is established, the user is allowed to operate the information terminal device body 1 according to the authority of the user without additional user authentication and desired information is displayed on the head mount display 2, unless the head mount display 2 is removed from the user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
