ENROLLMENT PROCEDURE METHOD FOR MEMBERSHIP BY ELECTRONIC MAIL SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an applicant able to rapidly complete an enrollment procedure for membership without wrong operation by dispensing with the keying of the own mail address of the applicant for membership to its terminal equipment.

SOLUTION: The applicant for membership transmits an electronic mail in an empty state from its terminal equipment to the mail address exclusive for acceptance of application designated by a membership information provider. On the receipt of the mail, a server returns a URL with attribute information added thereto to the acquired mail address of the terminal equipment. The applicant then accesses the URL, browses an application page and transmits a consent from the terminal equipment. When it can be judged in the server that the application is from the applicant in question by the collation with the attribute information, the effect of the completion of application procedure and a membership registration number are transmitted to the terminal equipment of the applicant.
