PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving force transmission unit that has a structure capable of preventing a rotary member from dislodging depending on the orientation of an open face of a housing and preventing generation of wear and noise due to sliding friction between a driving force transmitting member and a locking part, in a drive transmission unit whose housing has a supporting shaft rotatable independently of the housing, separately from a supporting shaft integrally molded on the housing. SOLUTION: E-shaped snap rings 3A and 3B are fitted on one axial side and the other of the rotary supporting shaft 3 with respect to a bearing 2 mounted in a passing portion 1F for the rotary supporting shaft 3 in the housing 1A. A bottom outer surface of the housing 1A corresponding to the other side has an immovable limiting member 20, in which the rotary supporting shaft 3 is passed and which prevents movement of the E-shaped snap ring 3A.
