<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier for electrophotographic developer which is mixed with a polymerized toner and used as electrophotographic developer, which does not impair high image quality at all, which is constituted so that the environment dependency of electrification amount is low, and by which excellent printing characteristic can be obtained at from a low temperature and a low humidity to a high temperature and a high humidity, and a developer using the carrier. <P>SOLUTION: The carrier for electrophotographic developer mixed with the polymerized toner obtained by a suspension polymerization method or an emulsion polymerization method and used as the electrophotographic developer, is characterized in that the surface of the core material of the carrier is coated with resin, and the exposed area ratio of the surface of the core material is 2 to 20%, and further the average area ratio per one spot of the exposed part of the core material is≤0.03%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
