PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image sharpness, to suppress a fogging and variation of sensitivity with age and to prevent defective read of registration marks in an automatic plate making machine. SOLUTION: In a heat-developable photographic sensitive material having, on a support, a photosensitive layer containing organic silver salt grains, photosensitive silver halide grains and a reducer and a non-photosensitive layer adjacent to the photosensitive layer on the side remoter from the support, nitroindazoles and a rhodium compound are contained in the photosensitive layer.
