<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device which can accurately move a movable body by a specified quantity. <P>SOLUTION: In the driving device which has 1st and 2nd carriages 6 and 7 connected to a driving wire 11 wound around a driving pulley 15 and drives the driving wire 11 by the rotation of the driving pulley 15 to move the 1st and 2nd carriages 6 and 7, the driving pulley 15 has axial length, in other words, winding width, large enough to wind at least one end of the driving wire 11 wound around the driving pulley 15 at at least ≥360° more than the length needed to drive the 1st and 2nd carriages 6 and 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
