<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a directional coupler for NRD guides wherein, as a millimeter-wave NRD circuit, its usable frequency bandwidth is made wider than conventional couplers, and the strict positional adjustments of its dielectric lines are so made unnecessary as to improve its productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The directional coupler for NRD guides is the one wherein its dielectric lines are so formed as to be interposed between its upper and lower conductor plates. It has a line-form linear dielectric line and has a bent dielectric line comprising a bent line portion and a parallel line portion which is so disposed as to be separated by a fixed space from the line-form linear dielectric line.
