PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To penetrate a crosslinking agent into a polyolefin and increase penetration velocity without advancing crosslinking reaction with the crosslinking agent. SOLUTION: In the manufacture of a CV cable comprising an insulating layer made of a crosslinked polyolefin crosslinked by chemical crosslinking and a sheath made of polyvinyl chloride covering the outer circumference of the insulating layer, when the crosslinking agent is penetrated into the polyolefin to obtain the crosslinked polyolefin, the crosslinking agent is penetrated into the polyolefin under a temperature environment advancing no crosslinking reaction of the crosslinking agent, and the crosslinking agent is penetrated into the polyolefin under supercritical fluid atmosphere.
