<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device whose number of manufacturing man-hours can be reduced and whose reliability can be enhanced and also which can be miniaturized and its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: This liquid crystal display device is provided with a liquid crystal panel 2 displaying a picture by filling liquid crystal 21 between first and second substrates 10, 11 which have electrodes and which are disposed to face oppositely and by applying voltages to the electrodes and a driving substrate 16 driving the liquid crystal panel 12 and the display device is made to transmit electric power in a non-contact state between the primary coil 20 formed on the driving substrate 16 and the secondary coil 14 formed on the first substrate 10 and also is made to transmit a signal by light between the light emitting elements provided on the driving substrate 16 and the light receiving elements provided on the first substrate 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
