<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic correcting clock capable of displaying an accurate time even in the case where the time is displayed with quartz accuracy after receiving a standard radio wave. <P>SOLUTION: This automatic correcting clock is provided with a long wave signal receiving system 11 for receiving a standard time signal transmitted from a standard radio wave station, a memory 14 for storing a correction time conversion table for associating the correction amount with the correction time for correcting an internal clock 15a and the correction frequency, and a control circuit 15 including an internal clock 15a, for correcting the internal clock 15a according to the standard time signal, obtaining an error of the internal clock 15a after the lapse of designated time, obtaining a correction amount per designated time, determining the correction time for correcting the internal clock 15a with the frequency corresponding to the correction amount according to the correction time conversion table stored in the memory 14 and the correction amount, and correcting the internal clock 15a according to the obtained correction amount at the determined correction time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
