<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the detecting error generated due to an unevenness or the like of an electrophoretic time among a plurality of capillaries. <P>SOLUTION: The multiple-capillary electrophoretic apparatus comprises a multiple-capillary array filled with a separating medium for separating samples and having a sample introducing unit at one end and a detector for acquiring information depending upon the separate sample at the position separate from the introducing unit, a voltage applying mechanism for applying a voltage to an energizing passage including the introducing unit and the detector, a thermostat for housing the part or the entirety of the part except the introducing unit from the multiple-capillary array, a first buffer container for housing the first buffer liquid for immersing the introducing unit, and a first temperature control mechanism for regulating the temperature of the first buffer liquid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
