<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner using a crystalline resin as binding resin and having excellent image preservability after fixation, a producing method of the toner, an electrostatic charge image developer incorporating the toner, and an image forming method. <P>SOLUTION: In the toner for electrophotography incorporating toner base particles consisting of at least a binding resin and a colorant, the principal component of the binding resin consists of the crystalline resin whose melting point is 50 to 120°C, the volume average particle size of the toner base particles is within the range of 3.0 to 7.5μm, and the average value of the BET specific surface areas of the toner base particles is within the range of 0.6 to 3.0 m<SP>2</SP>/g. In the producing method of the toner for electrophotography, the composition stage or the association stage of binding resin particles and colorant particles is performed, and then the temperature of the particles is lowered to be equal to or under the crystallization temperature of the binding resin at least at speed equal to or above 1°C/minute, thereby, toner particles are produced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
