PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incandescent lamp used for lighting food such as vegetables and meat or for a automobile, having an appearance color ranged from purplish red to purplish blue adopted to the market need, and capable of properly selecting the absorption wavelength peak. SOLUTION: In the electric lamp, a filament 2 is arranged inside an arc tube of glass, and the outer surface of the arc tube is coated with a thin film with a color ranged from purplish red to purplish blue having an absorption peak between 555 nm and 600 nm in a visible light region, wherein gold (Au) having a particle diameter of 1-100 nm is evenly doped in the film of parent substance having a refractive index (n) ranging from 1.65 to 2.10.
